Who We Are
Custom Design Innovations is a Minority-Owned, Carpentry & Drywall Sub-Contractor, Certified with various City & State agencies. CDI is a family-owned business that was formed in 2017. We are a self-performing union contractor with experienced employees totaling over 35 years in the NYC construction industry. We are a full-service firm providing everything from a full Carpentry & Drywall Scope, to just Taping, Kadex & Black Iron services. We recently added Labor Management Services into our offerings, as we encountered many clients who needed only temporary licensed and insured labor. We are proud of the relationships we have fostered with our partners and clients and look to continuously and aggressively grow while maintaining a customer and lean driven operation.

About The Founder
Angel Marquez started in the Construction industry as a NYC Union Carpenter Apprentice in 2004. He worked his way up the ranks to Foreman in 2009; building with the top companies in the luxury, high-rise New York City-based residential & commercial market. In 2017, he decided to branch off on his own and start Custom Design Innovations, LLC.
Angel holds an MBA from Seton Hall University, and served his apprenticeship through the NYC District Council of Carpenters Technical College.
